Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

We are so excited to announce that Rosa Parks K8 will have a TK class this year, 2026-27!

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) provides young learners with a strong foundation for success in kindergarten and beyond. Through hands-on, play-based learning and developmentally appropriate instruction, students build early skills in literacy, math, language, social-emotional development, and problem-solving. TK helps children develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits while fostering curiosity and a love of learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Rosa Parks K–8, we are committed to ensuring every child receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive from the very beginning of their educational journey.

At Rosa Parks K–8, we provide engaging learning experiences and strong support systems to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally during these important year
