Parent/Teacher Home Visit Project
Rosa Parks K-8 School also participates in the Parent/Teacher Home Visit Project. The aim of the Home Visit Project is to strengthen communication between schools and families as a means of improving student achievement and engagement. You are your student’s first teacher and their biggest influence. Home visits enable us to learn from you the best ways to support your student’s growth and success. Our visits will be informal and in a setting most familiar to you (either your home and/or a place away from the school that is comfortable for you). Throughout the year, some of your student’s teachers may call you to schedule a home visit. If you do not receive a call, but would like a home visit, please do not hesitate to call the school (916) 395-5327 to set one up.
