Parent Center and ELAC
Parent Center
The Rosa Parks TK–8 Parent Center is a welcoming space designed to support and empower families as partners in their students’ success. The Parent Center provides families with access to valuable resources, workshops, school information, and connections to community services that support academic achievement and overall well-being. Through family outreach, including home visits and personalized support, we work to strengthen relationships between families and the school. Our goal is to ensure every family feels welcomed, informed, and connected while building a strong partnership to help all students thrive.

English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
At Rosa Parks TK–8, our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) provides families of English Learners with an important opportunity to partner with our school in supporting student success. ELAC meetings create a space for families to learn about English Language Development programs, share input, understand student progress, and collaborate on ways to support multilingual learners. Families play an essential role in helping students thrive by encouraging language development at home, staying connected with teachers, participating in school activities, and advocating for their students’ academic growth. Together, we celebrate the strengths of our diverse languages and cultures while ensuring every English Learner has the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
If you would like to get involved, please reach out to Ly and Araceli listed above.
