SCUSD is Expanding Meals Access for Students
Affected by the School Closures

News Post

The Sacramento City Unified School District Nutrition Services Department is expanding meal access for students affected by the school closures. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18 the District will increase the number of sites where meals are provided as well as expand the hours for meal distribution.

The Nutrition Services Department will offer free breakfast and lunch to students at 40 SCUSD schools from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals will be distributed in the front office at each of the 40 school sites. We understand that not all families may be able to reach these schools during the designated times. Therefore, free meals will also be available from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 14 locations, including the District’s Serna Center.

Make sure to look for a white District vehicle in front of the school office with our apple logo. District staff will deliver meals to your car. Please call Nutrition Services at 916-395-5600 for more information. https://www.scusd.edu/e-connections-post/scusd-expanding-meal-access-students-affected-school-closures
